Get DowJo
Put DowJo on your Home Screen.
It opens full screen, like any other app, straight from your phone's browser. No App Store, nothing to configure — about 30 seconds.

Step 1: Open DowJo in Safari
Safari is the compass icon. Already reading this in Safari? You're there.
Step 2: Tap Share
The square with an arrow pointing up — at the bottom of the screen. Don't see it? Tap ••• first, then Share.
Step 3: Tap Add to Home Screen
Scroll the list if you need to — it can sit under More. The icon is a square with a plus .
Step 4: Tap Add
Keep the name DowJo. If you see “Open as Web App”, leave it on.
Step 5: Open DowJo from your Home Screen
Tap the new DowJo icon. It opens full screen — sign in once and you're in.

What installing does — and doesn't do

Install DowJo, open it from your Home Screen, then turn notifications on in DowJo's settings — if you want them. DowJo doesn't ask the moment you arrive, and this page never asks at all.

Questions
Why isn't DowJo in the App Store?
DowJo runs on the web, so it installs straight from your browser — the same DowJo, always the latest version, with no store download or update to wait for.
How do I remove it?
Like any app. iPhone/iPad: touch and hold the DowJo icon, then choose to remove it. Android: touch and hold, then Uninstall or Remove. Computer: open DowJo's window menu and choose Uninstall.
Do I need to install it?
No. Everything works in your browser too — installing just puts DowJo one tap away and lets your phone show notifications if you want them.
Technical details
DowJo is a Progressive Web App: a website your browser can install with its own Add to Home Screen / Install feature. It keeps the browser's security model — it can't see your other apps or files — and its only background piece is the service that delivers notifications, if you use them.
